Steve Marsh the organic farmer in WA who lost his organic certification due to GM canola contamination, has lodged a writ claiming damages and an injunction restricting planting of GM canola against his neighbour in the WA Supreme Court. The Safe Food Foundation director Scott Kinnear participated in a press conference in Perth to announce the proceedings. Read the media release here.

The Safe Food Foundation (SFF) is a fundraising and advocacy organisation recently established to bring focus and scrutiny to bear on the risks arising from unsafe agricultural and food industry practices and technologies, and to promote awareness of the health, social, economic, and environmental effects of food production and consumption.
